Some states have been reporting scams related to COVID-19 vaccine Points of Dispensing (POD) and people offering help to expedite the process – for a fee.

The government will not send an email, voice mail, or text offering to expedite the process for a fee. If you have any questions about the vaccine process, please contact your health care provider or local health department for your area – do not provide personal information to unsolicited communications and definitely do not pay someone who contacts you in this manner.
