The Murfreesboro Technology Council is proud to announce its team members. Each individual has experience in the technology field and shares the vision of growing the economy of Murfreesboro and surrounding areas of Middle Tennessee by bringing in technology companies and uniting technologists.

The MTC Team

Chad Mullis

Chad Mullis serves as ITD’s Interim Assistant Vice President for Technical Services, which includes information security, networking, enterprise server services, and unified communications.

Since 2005, Mr. Mullis has served in various IT positions at MTSU, including systems administrator 2, director of Business and Finance Technology Support Services, and director of Enterprise Server Services.

Mr. Mullis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recording Industry (Production and Technology), and a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems from MTSU.


Matthew Haese

Matt Haese is the owner of Enlighten Technologies, which assists with tech consulting for small businesses, non-profits, private schools, government agencies, and corporations. Matt is proficient in IT design, installation, and management of data, security, and voice networks.

Matt Haese knows the critical importance of a fast, secure, and dependable IT network to support the growing needs in the office and classroom. He has trained in Comp TIA Network, Microsoft and Cisco. Matt Haese is the IT Director for Franklin Road Baptist Church and Christian School where he is actively involved in the design, and insallation maintenance of the tech and media.


Michelle Price HeadshotMichelle Price

Michelle Price currently works as a Corporate Systems Analyst utilizing tools such as SharePoint, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence and eazyBI.  She is a tech enthusiast which means she lives and breathes technology.  When Michelle is not involved in technology, she is looking for ways to become involved.

Michelle’s background is in Business Analysis, Project Management & Coordination, Front End Web Development, and Database Administration.

Michelle is currently working on a project teaching online classes using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.  The students are native Spanish speakers learning a combo of English and basic web design.


Ryan Horony MTCRyan Horony

Ryan Horony is an Entrepreneur, Graphic Designer, Web Developer, and advocate for small business growth. He has been involved in the various sectors of education, technology and non-profit since he retired from the US Army in 2014. Ryan began his military career operating nuclear reactors on submarines and finished leading Soldiers in combat. This unique path led to his ability to see the most intricate details of any system, and how they play a part in the overall big picture.

Ryan currently manages the day-to-day operations of The Fox & Goat Coffee Company, and specializes in Infrastructure Management, Cyber Security, and Business Intelligence. He currently serves on the Tennessee Board of Reagents, advocating for all 27 technical colleges in Tennessee, is working on a non-profit initiative to build technology interest in middle school students, and volunteers as a technology instructor for the public library system. Ryan’s passion lies in helping people realize their full potential by empowering them to overcome their personal barriers to success and lobbying for barriers they cannot control.

Ryan’s motto is “better today than you were yesterday”. His mission is to unite the private sector, the educational sector, and the public sector in order to better serve the community.



Kenneth Jackson

Currently serving as the Data Center Manager and campus manager for the Tennessee offices of Tierpoint, Ken brings his nearly 20 years of experience in the critical environment industry. Ken has previously held senior roles at companies such as: Regions Bank, Bank of New York Mellon, AMD and HP among others. Ken’s main areas of focus are data center infrastructure with specialties in energy, efficiency and optimization. In addition, 5Nines also provides consulting services for data center operation and management.

Having previously been a responsible engineer for over 1 million square of data center space and 180 remote compute spaces globally, Ken is well versed in the specific needs of today’s data center owners, engineers and managers. Ken has earned his Master’s Degree in Data Center Leadership & Management from Anglia Ruskin University.


Jon Hoscheit

Jon Hoscheit is a founding partner for Data Suites Datacenters (Murfreesboro Data), as well as the Murfreesboro Technology Council and several consulting groups. With a focus on improving the technology offerings in Rutherford County, as well as matching companies to local IT professionals, Jon is focused on enabling Rutherford to compete in a global market.

Before dedicating his time to Data Suites, the Technology Council, and the consulting practices, Jon gained over 20 years of enterprise experience with the IRS, several Fortune 500 Medical companies and non-profit charities. Throughout his career, Jon focused on improving and enhancing people around him.

Jon has education ranging from multiple Voice, Network, and Microsoft certifications, as well as education from multiple Universities in several technology degree fields ranging from Information Management to CIS. His education and work for the community continue to drive him to evolve, while enabling others to thrive.
