The Maker’s Coding Lab – Blackman Elementary

Short Description: Explore the world of computer science through various coding activities and hands-on physical computing. Click HERE to learn more details from the event site.
Long Description: Each camper will develop basic coding skills as they make their own ‘apps’ with MIT’s Scratch coding platform. Through Lego WeDo ™ and Makey Makey ™ technology, campers will engage in a variety of STEM challenges as they problem solve their way through the world of physical computing. No experience is necessary, but campers should have a positive attitude and adventurous spirit.
Age: Recommended for incoming 3rd – 5th graders
Lunch: Students bring their own lunch
