Short Description: Students will explore the world of computer science through various coding activities and hands-on physical computing. Recommended for girls and boys entering third through fifth grades.

Long Description:  This exciting summer camp will give campers the opportunity to explore the world of computer science through various coding activities and hands-on physical computing. Each camper will develop basic coding skills as they make their own ‘apps’ with MIT’s Scratch coding platform. Campers will also engage in a variety of STEM challenges as they problem-solve their way through the world of physical computing. No experience is necessary, but campers should have a positive attitude and adventurous spirit.

Age: Recommended for incoming 3^rd – 5^th graders

Lunch:  Students bring their own lunch
